A shout of thanks to our COW for hosting our November Social. If you missed it, we had a great time getting to chat with our Skipper and XO and get a few deployment questions answered. In addition we ate LOTS of yummy food and got to visit with each other. At the end of the night we stuffed the Thanksgiving baskets. We had enough food to stuff 8 baskets. A BIG thank you to everyone who donated and a HUGE thank you to our Ways & Means Chairperson, Fallon. You did an awesome job putting it all together!!
The Secret Foxes are on the loose...by now everyone who submitted a Secret Fox sheet should have received theirs in the mail. This is a great opportunity to be an encouragement to each other. You don't have to spend a lot of money and sometimes, no money at all. A little note or a little something on her doorstep makes for a very happy Lady Fox! Have fun with it and don't forget its a secret...shhhh!!
Its hard to believe but Christmas is only 23 days away? For most of us that means lots of shopping, holiday parties and VERY busy calendars. While you are making plans for this holiday season, we hope you will mark your calendars to spend some time with the OSC at our Annual Ornament Exchange. It will be at Lori Jorgensen's home on Friday, December 10th at 6:30. Bring a wrapped ornament to exchange. Hope everyone can make it.
In addition to that mark your calendar for Tuesday, December 14th. As of now the Mad Foxes do not have a FRG (Family Readiness Group-for ALL hands), but all that's about to change. The kick off for this wonderful opportunity is going to be a Kids Christmas party on the 14th. It will be held at The Zone on base and will be from 6-9pm. There will be games, crafts, pizza and some yummy sweet treats for the kids. Please come and meet some of the other Mad Fox Families! More information will be coming your way, but you can mark it down now!! If you would like to help or would like more information, please contact Kela Stelzig or Krista Artis.
Hope you have a great week!!
